re: NPX 3/2

Good points:
After 2 seasons. nothing broke, split or any other kind of visible damage.
Warm, soft, unrestrictive and great feeling on the skin.
The bib saves me from the cold water splash.
The inner lining doesn't smell.
Easy to put on/off
Inexpensive
I liked the fact they do 2 sizes within the size (I.E. I got the extra long sleeves and legs)

Some issues:
I don't like the straps around ankles either as the water drains too slowly.
After 2 years it's becoming a bit lose now. Originally, I would fall in in the middle of Winter, and the water wouldn't come in. Now it's letting the water in faster.
The velcro around the neck grabs the suit and damage the surface (inner or outer)
I would have preferred a colour other than black.

But it still works so I won't replace it.

Would I buy another? Probably would, just for the feel of it.

I bought one from Promotion. They do a range of windsurfing specific wetsuits with loose upper arms and upper body and dryskin. They offer good customer service including exchange if the fit isn't right (even if you have worn the wetsuit!) and with US exchange rates the price is good. You won't have to wait long either - I think mine arrived within a week or two from when I ordered it.

I have now tried out my (ladies 5/3) wetsuit in wintry conditions. It is so warm and cosy and takes the pain out of falling in. People say the water has become very cold but I haven't noticed. The wetsuit is very comfy and doesn't feel tight at all. It is loose around the shoulders so even lifting the arms above the head for waterstarting isn't a strain, and it is so bouyant I can almost float standing up! The dryskin stops windchill/evaporation chill when out of the water so I don't have to change into dry clothes in the freezing carpark and can drive home in my wetsuit. I arrive home warmer than I often do in the summer!
People keep asking me what brand it is because I look so warm and comfy - ProMotion.

Now why did I get a red thumb for that?
or does everyone have to include a "no pecuniary interest" clause with every post nowadays?
