Is this ok to use for GPS/speed sailing? I'm not breaking records just rather a cheap watch that does the same as the Canmore GPS GP-102+ so I don't have to have a waterproof pack on me all the time!

It may be OK as a check of what you're doing on the water, but it certainly hasn't been approved for posting to the GTC.

With the trouble CockyPete is having with his Canmores, I'd be a bit wary.

works very well, as long as you dont break records on GPSTC you should be fine.

The only trouble we have over here with the canmores is that they are definitely not water resistant nor proof !!
And there's around 30+ of us using them. None of us has had issues like CockyPete.

It's actually a gp102+ inside a waterproof watch.

The 203 looks even better with the heart rate function

Moz, have sent my files away to gurus to try & work out what is going wrong. At the moment running them through KA72 they are coming out all wrong on Alpha, Hr, Nm & Dist, 2 sec & 5x10 seem alright, hard to know as I don't have a GT31 or GW52 to check them against. I find them notoriously inaccurate, that's why I always wear two. I have had up to 0.8 kts diff in 2sec & 1-2 kts in alphas & Nms. Running them through GPS results last week one had a 31.344 Nm, the other 26.677 Nm. Through KA72 was 25.824 Nm & 24.95 Nm. For some reason at the moment they only seem to record every 2 sec & sometimes 3sec. Time settings on Canmore are from memory 1, 5, 10, 30, 60, it is set on 1 sec. Maybe they only last six months before starting to play up?

It's been a while since the original post. Did anyone end up trying the Canmore TW-103 and have experience they are able to share.
Thanks.

Might have to wear the GW-60 and the Canmore TW103 at the same time and compare?
