Looking good Vando. Out of interest to eliminate that slight luff crease at the base of the 7.0 will you add a few spacers? The 8.6 looks like it needs nothing but wind. Are the luffs deeper too or am I imagining it?
Looking forward to a review in comparison to the 2011 models.

Hey Snags no spacers yet I let them stretch in abit first.
But I think the spacers are only required on the bottom cam 1 or 2 max on the 7.
Yer they do look deeper and More twist too all the way down.
to get the same twist out of the 2011 sails on the RDM mast the sail would be flatter.
Specs on the sails seem spot on this year. Tip just remember they come with the SDM cams on, silly me rig it with the wrong cams first up
also a nice improvement is the Luff material, be interesting to see Where Monty goes from here great product. Now I Just need some wind to see how they feel on the water
Still got the 6.3 to rig but run out of Light maybe tom.
Rigged my new 6.3 and the old 7m racing blade on the 430 powerex rdm 85%
Here are some comparison photos.
Main differences are a bit less luff curve, slightly less area in the head, tougher material in the luff panel (only area where there has been wear in the 2011). Better tack strap.
Rotation still as easy.
Then rigged the 7m on a 460 powerex 100% rdm (4cm over length) and it gave the sail a more forward draught (had to move harness lines forward) and a more grunty, locked in feel.
vando said... Nice one Lao I haven't tried my 6.3 yet it was my favorite sail in the 2011 range.
I loving the new 7
+1, 6.3 was my favourite sail as well the new 7m feels so much like it and I still haven't downhauled it to spec because only used it in marginal conditions.
What a fantastic way to Christen a sail!!!!
Thanks to Col of http://windsurfaustralia.com/ for an amazing experience.
The 6.3 was almost as powerful as the 7 which I tried first run but with great stability and plenty of speed. 31knot display and 30knt 10 sec open ocean without really trying.
Woohoo!
Tried out Lao's new 6.3 today at Safety Bay in 20-23kts with gust's to 26. The sail immeadiatley felt more controllable than the 2011 Koncept 6.4, I was using today. Power delivery was smooth and locked in and the rotation on the skinny was awsome. This is to easy I thought ! Build quality looks good.
Didnt want to try and push the limits on Lao's new pride and joy and risk damaging it. Hard to give it back to him though.
Anyone want to buy a Koncept

Col, you are comparing apples & oranges.
I have the same model 6.4 Koncept as you & recentlytried the 2012 6.6 Koncept.
The difference is huge, the 2012 sail's top end feels unlimited & so stable.
Rigged nicely on a skinny as well.
Unfortunately Jesper has repo'd it
You need to try both the same year & have them both rigged properly for a real comparison
There's an idea, get a few different brands to demo sails on the same day at the same place for a true comparison
