The guys were right to bail when it got too windy at the mid. I went out with the 3.7 and was still massively overpowered. It got even windier!

Did a big back injury and now going to miss out on 4 days of good windsurfing. Took me 1/2 hour to put the clothes on this morning! Might do some filming if I can walk properly by the weekend.

Did that injury happen when your sail slammed you in the car park? You know its windy when Ty's sailing a 3.3m.

I think Geoff injury come from walking up and down the hill changing sails

It was a humbling experience. I think the back was weakened by being slammed a few times (including in the car park), many walks up and down the hill followed by a death jibe. It was a painfull but valuable lesson. I rigged too big - many times over!
