No better way to scare the wind off than call an expression session - fingers crossed the BOM forecast will actually happen.

CHANGE OF VENUE: Due to the kiteboarding competition being held at seaford the plan is to meet at Day st middleton. will prevent WW3 and we will have better conditions will be there from around 9. cheers

A bit of a Heads up guys - looks like Day Street on Saturday as we have just found out SAKSA are holding the State Kite Surfing wave titles at Seaford on Saturday morn.

Thers's supposed to be plenty of waves and wind so be good to leave the kiters plenty of room to hold the titles

Cu there

....but it isn't frosty in the mornings in Maui

I'm a bit confused - Is it Saturday (Northerlies - offshore at Day St, maybe in the arvo it'll get more side) or Sunday (NW'lies after the front)?

Its the weather so WKWTF will happen.

BOM, Seabreeze and Weatherzone all conflict slightly but all predict nw by lunch time for SCC SE and Gulf waters.

Seaford best option in a nnw - SAKSA comp on from 8am - 12 hours of 30knt Nthlys and Triggs and U-s start getting ugly

Damned if you do and damned if you don't - see you on the water - somewhere

Hi guys- if the Windsurfing organisers would like to pm me a contact number I will give them a call to see if we can work something out, it would be good if we could all work together, the mid is a long stretch and we definitely don't need it all.

Enjoy the comp.

Done - Really hoping for nw'rs and sailing day street any way but sailing around the corner from home would be nice

Can't believe the post gets red thumbs - just can't please some people.

Looks like a 50 / 50 for Middleton vs. Seaford at the moment. Smaller surf down south but may be NW. I'd hate to have to make a call on where to go in advance!

Hey Chris, so where are we going to meet and when?

Are we still on this schedule:

VENUE: Either 3 poles or Day street

TIME: Meet Three poles (300m north of Seaford Road) at the Jack Holder reserve from 9am.

CALLING THE VENUE: If its too north west we'll head straight to Chapman Road Middleton (Day Street).

BBQ: Sausage sizzle at $2 to cover costs

WINDSURFING SA MEMBERSHIP: Forms will be available to sign up for your insurance for 2010/11

Woah she's pretty wild out there today with howling Norwesters blowing the ocean and any swell sideways. 1 foot waves at Middleton, probably a windsurfing day, fix your dings or cook some scones.

By the power vested in me (by knowing this login ) , I'm going to declare some unofficial winners of this blown-out event.

Chris H, Geoff M. and James T. (aka SlimJim) turned up and sailed the designated spot at the designated time and looked good in testing conditions. Bad luck about the sail Chris!

No points for Richard U. who piked out and watched them
