Go Fos. Hey guys tommorows forecast is looking great. S/SW around 15-20 knots. The entry fee is $10 and all you need is a bouyency vest and suitable gear. Looking at a 2.30pm start and the breifing is a 2pm. Get there nice and early, should be heaps of fun. There wont be a support boat now so please use common sense if you attend. Have fun and good luck to everyone.

Yep no worries Ant. Just head into Prossors and you can park on the grass at the back there.

Forecast is looking pretty perfect as it's meant to swing around to the SSE at 15+ knots (fingers crossed).

So 2 divisions today, Formula division and then the rest of us, does that sound fair?

Awesome Dash for Cash. Todays Dash was a great success with a solid 18-20 knot Southerly buster. Kaleb won his first Dash in around 10 mins, Steve 2nd, Dave 3rd, Russ 4th, Kazza 5th, Damo 6th. Damo won the Auswind/Flying Objects Nitro fin. Great work everyone, we had 17 entrants Good job red team.

No Formula division today!! Well done on running a great event Steve. Quite hard work with that chop on the River. Well done to Kaleb for winning and to everyone who went in it. We had a heap of spectators watching, which was great.

Here's a video of the start taken by my 10 year old daughter on her i-pod touch, and she made it into a you tube thing. Useful things, children. (some of the time).

Great photos Easty, very clear quality. Well done to your daughter taking the video. Check out the photo of the kayaks. At first I thought there was a midget being taken for a ride in the front. Take a closer look and there is a sailboard that has collided with a kayak. Who the hell was that!!!

Well spotted Steve, I missed that. Yeah great camera (Houston's), I love the second shot with all the symetrical mast angles.

No collision! If you watch the start video you can see Will powering up, then wham hits the deck after collecting the rope off the back of the buoy. The kayakers have to take evasive manouvers to get past him.

I am going to do somthing about the entry into the water on the Sandy Bay point! To be honest it's unsafe to enter into the water holding your equipment. What does everyone think would work???? I am happy to gather idea's and present to HCC Infrastructure Services Director for some funds to improve this for everyone. I saw Bear son fall in on the rocks (hope you are ok) entering the water holdong his expensive gear and was thinking, if only there was a small path, it would be safer for everyone not just sailboarders. Cheers Russ
