Good luck to the Tassie guy's at Green Island Cookie, Ben and Kaleb.
Don't play up to much, although maybe one or two cocktails won't hurt

Thanks guys

Racing got underway today with the free race starting at 1015am. Kaleb was looking after some of the proceedings which left Cookie and I to battle it out. We rigged the biggest we had and gave it our all.
First 15 was a little dull but then we did get a small taste of what it is like to sail green island.. dodging turtles in warm turquoise water is something very cool yet warm at the same time.
Finished the free race and done some longer runs out off the island before the slalom started... doesn't really get rough in the lighter wind so was some amazing runs I wont forget in a hurry.
From the slalom we pretty well got the result we were expecting it being our first time racing... got some good starts and stopped early, raced the wrong heats, missed the finish line.... mixed a lot of things up but had a great time and learnt a lot from a lot of helpful

people.. thanks.

Great island to stay and lots to do... but was great to get some wind on top of everything else.

It looks amazing there. There was wind here yesterday but I just couldn't motivate myself in the torrential downpour. It wasn't that cold but with the heavy cloud and wind it was easier to stay inside. I hope the wind keeps blowing up there.
