Nice couple of hours on the lagoon with the kite.

Good to start gentle, with at least 4 windsurfers sitting on the beach, watching

We like to watch tea bagers struggling around In 10 knots the scurage of society being to cool for windsurf school must instead learn the rules of the force the hard way

yeah watching 3 adult men in 10 knots on a kite does look ..it!
I think watching SAM playing with his little triangle kite was more extreme and cool

If we wanted it easy we'd all go kiting. If the wind is light get back to basics sail a longboard. Or if you want a real challenge try a Formula. Yep a mongrel but a challenge even in 10Knots.
We could have a summer light wind longboard/Fatboard/floatyboard family/social fun day. Dust off the "Wallies" and bust out some old skool moves;
can anyone remember rail-riding, back sailing or flare gybes?
Now that could be cool not as too cool as kiting, but close.

Sounds good Relic , water time is usually the best time of the week so SUP ,sail and kite all good with me just don't mix all three in the same place

Ouch!

Following reading a piece in the latest Windsurf mag titled Beach Culture World Tour, I got inspired. The concept is basically a bit of friendly competition on and off the water.
On the water not isolated to windsurfing but also, Kite, SUP or anything. The winner is judged by the photo judged raddest.

Maybe a local version of the Beach Culure World Tour would be a laugh. We might be a bit short on culture! No matter. We can substitute with beer/wine/preferred beverage tasting. In moderation of course. Maybe a few categories; raddest picture, best broken gear repurposing, coolest beach art, biggest Flathead and best Beach Quisine.

Any thoughts?
