Thanks Apple, for the compliment.
Just to be clear. I'm not a stay at home dad. The suggestion is incorrect and casts a negative image I feel. I'm not one of those whimpy, Hipster, latte sipping tosser, stay at home pissweak excuses for a man wo could barely loft a cappuccin. knobbing around Salamanca, taking advantage of a hard working partner. I am a domestic maintenance and repair contractor, with 30 years experience in period restoration and additions and renovation who drinks real black coffee!
I have a very unique and broad skill set. There isn't much I can't fix. I am in the process of gaining a Diploma in Project Management.
During my 25 year career in film and tv. I undertook several property redevelopments in my spare time, holidays and long service leave periods. You could say I worked like a dog. That's why I didn't windsurf for the best part of 20 years. That's called sacrifice Apple.
I am now fortunate to be self employed, which allows me flexibility to run the household, be an available parent and windsurf when I bloody want
as my wife works full time. She loves the arrangement and reckons I've earnt it.
Back in the day I shaped my own boards and did restorations on fibreglass boats. Hence the ability to repair cracked, shattered and dinged fibreglass toys .
I'm glad to help any one with damaged toys. Or more importantly repair or maintain anything in a domestic structure.
