I have never sailed it but pottsy had some good days there and some average ones. Its fickle. The beach near Ansons may be windier but when Shellies is on it should be better wave riding. Ben Severne posted some photos of sailing near Bicheno once, I think.

Had about 10 sessions there over the years. Can be one, if not the best spot in Tas when it comes together.
Needs to be N or NNE wind and swell 1.5-2m+

Normally I'd say Buzzy is full of s... but I'd have to agree with him on this one it's a great spot

its an awesome spot but it doesn't get wind and swell that often...

ive been suping sandy point, but had to leave on tuesday right as the wind came up... missed a good long arms dtl session...
