Hello All, If anyone has had a look at the pressure map, Saturday is shaping up to be very windy with west to southwesterlies blowing all day with a big swell. We hopeful for maybe a Posso's or Point Danger (west coast) session to kick start the Vic Wavesailing Series. Stay tuned for tomorrow on what the decisions is. And those who ended up going down to Sandy Point last Sunday were well rewarded with reports of very fun wavesailing conditions. Unfortunately we made the decision not to proceed given the forecast but it just goes to show that if there is a hint of east in the forecast for Sandy Point, most of the time it will blow! Sounds like most of the wavesailing crew were down there anyway who had a great session. stay tuned for more info Regards, Vic Wave series admin

I would go to point danger if i was rich. Can you pay for my 60 dollars fuel money to drive there around the other side of the bay?? Any way i am meant to be running a freeride event with windaddict that day...i will go next time tho.. any chance you could run a comp in my back yard at point leo or flinders sometime??

Hello All, Its looking very windy tomorrow and there is some decent swell around so we are going to kick things off at Point Impossible tomorrow at 11am. The wind is suppose to swing more westerly and this is why we are kicking off a bit later. If however the wind is too onshore, we will head to Point Danger which is good bump and jump conditions in a south westerly. Its suppose to be very windy tomorrow so if the conditions are a little too full on for the beginner/intermediate wavesailor, Point Danger will be a good option as its a sailing location where you can easily avoid danger! The format tomorrow will most likely be a long expression session of a couple of hours then maybe a semi final and a final. Its going to be pretty cold and windy so I imagine people won't be too keen for standing around on the beach waiting for heats. Cheers
