Well due to popular demand we are going to safety bay this Monday 22/2.

Plan will be to meet up at about 4.30

Where should we meet?? Pengos or the pond?? or blue toilet block (shoalwater).

Can somebody who knows the area tell us about BBQ locations and availability and if they work. If need be we might need to organise our own.

Beers and BBQ after sailing as always :)

Whose in??

Pond. Meet me at the toilet block sounds a bit weird and anyone who has not been before may be a bit hesitant.
Or only Brucie will show up........

Absolutely can't make it this Monday, which is a pity because we like Safety Bay.
That should bode well for you, cos last time I couldn't make it (Dutchies) you got heaps of wind.
Good luck guys.

On a more serious note Bertie There is no bbq facilitys near the pool.
The windsurfers usually stick to the blue area. The is a grassed area to park but it will probably already be full before you get there.
Ajacent is a "boat"car park which is always empty when there is wind. This blue area provides a grassed area to set -up equipment, , shower and taps in which to obtain fresh water. some kind sole has donated a hose to Wash down equipment and easy beech access with the availability of automated toilets located in the carpark quadrant.
The other grassed area is highlighted in yellow and It is a nice area but unfortunatly its a slight walk to the water . the yellow area is predomintally used by teabaggers.
Failing that you can allways park on the south of the arcadia road and use the grassed area.
i just relized i overlaid the maps about and inch out (sand bar)
Hope this may help

That's twice I haven't been able to come, and on those two occasions you've had wind.
I'm prepared to accept bribes to stay away next week...

Bertie, maybe you need to give up windsurfing and take up something more sedate like chess...

At last we had some good conditions. It's always good to have a sail when people are getting into it and trying a few stunts. I hadn't seen Neil sailing before, he was ripping. Most of the Safety Bay guys are sailing pretty well too.
Cheers to Gary for taking care of the barby and beers.
