Anyone up for a sail at Pinnaroo this weekend? The graph looks promising so far, fingers crossed it doesn't drop off to nothing!

Peli doesn't really work that well in an easterly.. it can be hard to get out and there are moored boats in the way.....

once you're out in the middle perhaps, very iffy close in. and it's dead offshore, so if anything goes wrong... a long walk home from the other side.

Looks like the forecast is dropping off a bit, not sure tomorrow or sunday are going to be any good Anyone decided where to go, if at all?

I'll check it again in the morning then head for Pelican's if over 12 knots to practise slow gybes. Otherwise, Sunday may be an option too.

Pelican point, Majestic point or Mandurah are the possibilities. I think Peli if there is enough wind to warrant getting wet.

what a fizzer! where is all that wind we were supposed to be getting? I think for the next couple of months we should totally disregard forecasts and only get excited when it is in fact windy.

I have a booking for hot air ballooning on Monday morning. Its a rebooking as last time it was too windy to go (10 knots is too much). So Ive done my bit to generate wind for everyone. Looking at the seabreeze graph for the next week its only going to be 20 knots at night ! But I suspect the green will dissapear as it get nearer. Has anyone checked, if you change your preference to not wanting wind do the long range forecasts change to match ? Ie is it always what you want in 4 days time (just joking Laurie)

Wow! That would take a lot of hot air to get that high. You would need Kevin Rudd AND Joe Hockey. Hmm,. no, that would be a bit of overkill. You would probably end up sub orbital using both of them. Kevin and Julia would probably do the job.
