nw winds........ hmmmmmmm. anyone done a recon lately?

On this I am actually being serious

Mud and sludge,
With very little rain since my last visit where we waded through waist deep mud before being able to water start, I can't imagine the levels being any higher in fact most likely lower.

Windy announces his return, Huey's first storm of winter.

Coincidence? I think not

The way I read that is its going to be gusty as sh!t in the morning, with a short burst sometime before lunch (which might not make it inland to the river) and festering out all day with HEAVY rain kicking in after lunch for hours and then the wind comes in nuking hard around 1am.

Friday looking fresh-strong in the morning till mid-afternoon.

Monday shaping up to be the cracker.

I could be wrong though

I'm so full of sh!t. If I fully believed what I said in my last post I would have stayed at home and got some work done... rather than optimistically hoping I was wrong about the forecast and wasting all my time washing my wetsuit in rain this afternoon... oh well. Might get the 7.8m going tomorrow! woohoo!!!
