The board is a bit slippery and although I put wax on near rails (top and bottom side of the board), I still keep missing the board in the launch or drop it during the jump.

I have seen that for example Choptop and Kipuna have a molded fatter rail on the top side of the board running parallel to the rail which would help a lot when grabbing the board.

So, any ideas what I glue/put near the rails to get a secure grab instead of dropping the board during grabs?
Hi guys,
say, has anyone taken a kitebag along on an Air China flight economy class in the last years? Just wanted to hear what your experiences were, if there was any hassle while changing planes etc.,how much (if any) you paid extra and whether the weight of the kitebag was taken from your luggage allowance?
I've a 3kite+board type bag to take along that's around 140cm in length.

Ta!

$200 Registration Fee for Nationals - too much?

I just want to throw this out to hear what others think about it.
Last year I was registered for the nationals for the race and for the big air comp. I paid $100. Unfortunately, the wind was very light and I wasn't able to get going on my 12m and the twin tip. The big air comp never happened because after the presentation most of the officials started to clean up and the riders on the water were left alone with their jumps.

However, I am just wondering how $200 can be justified when you already have to be an Aksa member paying $135. Overseas you pay around $75 for the nationals. I also remember that for the PKRA tour at the Gold Coast in 2010 the registration was under $100.

Let me know what you think without making unnecessary jokes ;-)
Cheers
