  <description><![CDATA[With great sadness, IWC mourns the loss of one of its original and esteemed members.  Ray Fehlberg passed away suddenly on Sunday.<br>Ray was the epitome of the club-  whether it be pitching in to help at events or sneaking off midweek for a session.  He was great to sail with, and always up for a joke.   <description><![CDATA[With only a few weeks to go until the RPS Longboard challenge, several rumours have surfaced which (in my official capacity as an ethical and moral mentor), I wish to highlight and set the record straight on the following matters:<br><br>ISSUE 1)  <br>Always a stickler for protocol, George has questioned my qualifications as event judge, and has suggested that my judging team may lack honesty and integrity and may be open to small bribes and incentives.  This just simply isn't true...I can assure you that my team is NOT interested in small bribes at all..in fact this year we have capped our starting bribe at $100.   <description><![CDATA[Windsurfing Victoria with SHQ and SBHQ are running a beginner and intermediate demo/training day at Lake Wendouree in Ballarat this Saturday 5th May 2012 (10am to 3:30pm). This is an open event, but with limited numbers (i.e. 20) due to equipment and instructors. At this stage we are focusing on the local windsurfers around the Ballarat and surrounding areas, but others are welcome to attend. Cost of entry will be $35 to cover equipment rental and travel costs. We are planning this event as the new first of many to come in at various locations around Victoria.]]></description>

  <description><![CDATA[Six brave Sir Windsurfing Knights took off on their quest to travel from one end of Lake Victoria to the other - approx 120 kms - over 2 days.  The crew was Matt Tonner and Adrian(RPS) - with memories of their Fiji trip still fresh in their minds and a few of the Invy Crew - Drift, Fireman Sam, Moondo and myself.  After one previous attempt did not get underway due to high winds and storms the forecast last weekend looked the goods. The trusty 30 yo Jerzy Jet was packed in the van and we where off.  Camped out at Hollands Landing Friday night with the locals in the Caravan Park calling us crazy but super stoked for us.  Non Windsurfing friends where asking me "But Why?"  Because it was there and Why Not where my standard answers. I've taken a fair amount of skin off my right foot last Wednesday. when I dragged my foot across the deck of my board after I went over the handle bars mid Gybe at Bonno. Gutty based on tomorrows forecast. Maybe if the wife has nanny nap, I might try and have quick one and get back before she wakes up.<br><br>Saturday 28 April<br>Winds Northwesterly 10 to 15 knots tending west to northwesterly 15 to 20 knots in the afternoon, shifting southwesterly 20 to 25 knots early evening.   <description><![CDATA[Hi guys,<br><br>We are a windsurfing student club from UNSW (one of Sydney's universities) trying to inoculate the windsurfing virus to as many student as we can. <img src="http://res1.seabreeze.com.au/images/forums/icon_smile_cool.gif" width="15" height="15" border="0" alt="" title="" align="middle" /><br><br>We are looking for somebody who would be driving from Melbourne to Sydney to bring back two boards we bought there. They are currently stored in one of our member garage there, are he would be able to drop them anywhere around  Melbourne.<br><br>We would ultimately be able to drive them to Sydney ourselves, but only at the end of the semester, so we are looking for somebody to help us speed up the process. We thought we'd ask the windsurfing community in case somebody would be commuting any soon. Obviously, we would be contributing to the petrol expenses.
