Woke up and read this is the paper this morning.... Wolf creek style..
www.smh.com.au/national/female-backpackers-escape-alleged-kidnapping-and-murder-in-south-australian-bush-20160210-gmqnbc.html
I think on behalf of any 'euro' or interstate visitor..kiting remote locations...would like to say thanks to all the nice aussies..most of whom when it comes to kiting...are imports or past travellers themselves...thanks for not doing this!
Wolf Creek should be mandatory viewing for all prospective outback backpackers, as a documentary.
I agree.
What a sick bastard!
I can probably count myself as one of a very few people who have had a movie night out whilst camping out at Wolf Creek Crater and watched the movie. Even in the middle of nowhere it turned out to be more of a comedy that scary flick. Probably because once you actually go there none of the locations make sense and actually fit in with the reality of the location.
It will be interesting to see how this SA thing unfolds, last I read they were now looking back through other missing persons files for others that are missing and may be linked. Bloody unlucky for the girls to stumble across this leach, but very fortunate they escaped.
