Am I the only one who can't get these apart without breaking one or both of the??

Hooksey: haha.. yeah, I take it you're referring to the $5 Mortein mozi kits you buy in Foodland ?. I had a mozi problem at my place over summer and did exactly what you did and had the same result. I just figured that they are not meant to come apart and that both ends are lite. Anyway, it got the job done

Look at it from the outside Hans.

It is a Yin and Yang. You will spend this lifetime breaking them as you try to separate - and in next lifetime you will not be able to keep them together no matter how you try.

This you will realise as you grow.

Put coil on flat hard surface.
Run butter knife from outside inwards along join.
Closer to middle gently use knife pushing downwards to force coils apart.
by this stage you should be able to use fingers to separate last bits.

why go to all that effort , just jam the stand in it and light both frickin ends
