I know these are hitting the shops soon but has anyone seen the totally new shape they are releasing for 2021 ?????

I hear it's totally been reworked

Just heard rumors here that the new line adds way more volume, nothing more than that.

Yep, they are very different to the last few years iterations of the Pro

They almost look like a throw back to some of the earliest models, with higher volumes and wide points further forward.
I have the 8'0 x 29 x 121 L (8'3 / 8'5 replacement) coming in about 3 weeks, should be interesting to see how they compare.

I guess they are aiming at making these more user friendly as the market for full tilt Pro style boards has dropped off quite a bit.

Come in and see me a Surfland and I can show you info / specs

Cheers,
Marco

Wow, 8'0 and 121l? That's like 15% higher volume for the same width and length as some of the old pro models.
Do they have a really stepped deck and dome standing area to fit that much volume in?

The 7'7 x 28 is 107L, so pretty close

Bit of Dome but a much fuller profile than the last few versions

Wow interested to see them! 7'7 x 28 @107l is insane! It's like a mix between their hypernut and pro?

I'll hoping for more of a hypto type outline, but I guess we'll see.

Love to see them, I have the 2017 8'x28" and with the specs from Marco it looks like I could get away with under 7'7"? Which is crazy

I know, right? Hopefully they keep the cheaper construction option, because those carbon boards are right out of my price range.

They need to hire a better colour designer as these look like a private prep school boys uniform colour design rather than a surfing stick.

I think they are actually on the right path with these for pro shapes. Stable, short shapes with lots of volume for size and high performance. 7'7" sounds sweet.

I really wish they would move away from the longboard finbox on these. There are all of two FCS II thruster fin sets that work on these natively.

l have ordered the 10'2 wedge ( which was the 10'5 widepoint ). From what l know besides being shorter its a little thicker and a increase in volume from 178L to 183L. Starboard site is due to be updated on 16.9.2020 with 2021 SUP range

They're up! Or is that a back door as thought they weren't being published until the 16th?

look ok, imo a better look and construction than the '19-'20 range
now if only they weren't so pricey or have they dropped that as well

Pricing has come down

The Pro boards have even returned to older constructions using a full Carbon and PVC wrap
Approx RRP $2999.00 for Carbon & $1900.00 for Starlite

Big winner in price is boards like the Whopper where the Carbon RRP's for $2589.00, that's pretty close to what they where originally priced when we first started producing Carbon boards.

I get mine next week and then head up to Gnaraloo for two weeks with 3 different versions of the same board.
2017/18 8'5 Pro 112L
2019/20 8'3 Pro 110L
2021/22 8'0 Pro 121L

Interesting to see how they all compare

Well that's great news, I bought your 8' a couple of years back Marco 2017 model and she's still solid. Might be a tough choice between 7'7" and 7'2"

I just can't see how they have so much volume for a board with apparently 'thin' rails?? Must have crazy dome deck?
