Gurus - want a crossover board that I can SUP and learn to foil. Is this board going to be suitable or too long? Should I be looking at another one? The fanatic bee might be to small as I'm 6 ft 2 and 95 ish kgs.
Cheers

What is you SUP experience? really crossover boards are that in between board that are maybe not perfect for either the jobs they need to do but something that will work for those that want to do both. For the foiling side really shorter is better so yeah 8'10 is going to feel pretty long and big when up on the foil but if you need that size for the SUP surfing side then maybe not much you can do about it.
We make a 8'3 Crossover that might also suit for your size www.oneoceansportsaustralia.com/shop/crossover-supfoil-board This is a fun surfing SUP and can foil as it has all the boxes and inserts and is PVC sandwich moulded so crazy strong so depending on your SUP experience side might be another option.

Perfect world you have two boards but the crossovers will work if you can only have one.

I'm still loving my heavy & strong Coreban 7ft by 31 wide by 115 litre converted SUP at my weight of 80 kgs and my height of 5ft 10".
So in my view I would go as short as possible in a SUP size that is stable in width.
So in my view 8ft 10 down to 8ft would work with the width & litres to suit your size & weight. But I would think closer to 8ft long if it feels stable enough as a SUP on moderate choppy water if you've had SUP experience.
I've just checked out ONE board crossover 8ft 3" at 131 litres. Awesome in my view for a heavy weight rider.
