I finally managed to get the Sunova Placid (8'7) out in some proper waves. The board is pretty much perfect for me. I can grovel around in 1ft of mush and take it out into overhead conditions. Short of slightly better tracking, this is the one board quiver for me. Absolutely in love with it!!!

The waves were closing out a bit, I think I need to go find a nice peeling right to go and play on.
