Nice Casso. Goes so nicely in small waves. Need to get my 77 down to the beach break when it is quieter (eg empty) because I really "Kook it" at times on that board when trying to get in wave.
You poor bugger - didn't surf today, but yesterday I moved down the beach from the main bank ( left and right hander ) there were probably 15 people there - ****i""g crowded, so paddled up the beach for a 150 metres and surfed a nice slightly full left ( 3 of us ) HOW DO YOU COPE??? Steve
The reason I took up SUP surfing was so I could go to breaks that are less crowded. Must suck not to have any other options
To answer your question. No, the local isn't.
Aaaargh - so lucky Marty!

Even our isolated foil spot that we used to always have to ourselves is now crowded with beginner prone surfers.
Best move was 303 min move by the guy on the red board
Case in point!

I was out at on this bank almost by myself to start with but within about 20 mins of catching a few waves, about 30 people paddled (or swam) out to keep me company.

That sucks mate, you do the righty and pick a little spot to yourself and it then gets taken over. Some stretches over here are like that, you score about 30 min then people start gravitating towards you.
When I see their common sense is absent I make the call to either move on or call it and go in, no amount of waves is worth sending someone to hospital with a wayward SUP in a crowded peak - you seem to be able to handle the sup with a lot of control so must be confident.
I might get smashed for saying this .....but i have noticed a lot more female proners and SUP surfers. Many with no leashes and no experience . Most have no clue on etiquette and are a danger to all.
They just giggle and always seem to get away with it
Hello Casso - had some nice waves at home beach ( 5 min walk ) -- one other person out -- this is the right number in the water for a relaxing and friendly surf. Steve

I much prefer to surf with girls/women than a bunch of blokes. They tend to be far better mannered, far less aggressive, more talkative and create a fun vibe. Whilst I find a lot of blokes, not all, out surfing take themselves far too seriously and can tend to be quite grumpy.

Trust me I prefer to be SUPing with women........
My comment is about the lack of leashes and and lack of etiquette. Your sex does not give you a license to surf unsafely and put others at risk.
In all honesty I like surfing with no more than 3 or 4 on a wave . Much less stressful. From a personal perspective going in the ocean is about getting away from it all , including others. Just my personal perspective

Good one, that's funny.
Didn't want to comment,to soon,I think we all have the ability to get in the way, especially on sups or big boards in crowded situations. But I do get what he is saying!!! ,and I do enjoy the vids
Casso, is a good guy with talent,,I'm sure he was taking the p-ss with his title to the clip.
Yes agree, thought that was obvious with walker and himself flagged as "in the way"
