AloHa,
Just checking if there is any feedback on using the Slingshot 76 Infinity for SUP foiling? too big, too small?
Welcome some feedback?
Hooksey. Have u got one or thinking of buying? I learnt on one behind a boat and then sup foiled it. I know ppl prone them too, as did the guy I brought it off, and also ppl wing foiling on them, all seem to go well. Needs some water flowing to engage lift... FYI 70 kg on a 6"6 smik slab for supfoil.

There is a B setting you can use if you have the switch fuse which places the mast further back on the fuse and will give you heaps more lift on the sup if needed. The 76 is the best allround foil it's has a great range.
Size is around 1550 sq cm.
Bigger foils, like 2450, foil up much sooner and capable in 2-3' surf.
Smaller foils, like 600, will need 8' waves to get enough boardspeed to lift rider and board up.
One issue is they are extremely fragile, far worse than other options of a similar price and capability. Less of a concern for winging or windfoil, but for SUPfoil most locals here have trashed at least one wing before moving onto other brands.
The issue with the 76 has since been rectified. SS had a couple bad production runs that made the wing split under hard impacts. I was one of the folk who had a waranteed wing, but if you have one go for it it's a fun wing.
thanks everyone for the input here. I will give my SlingShot foil a go for SUPing.
Now just need to decide which board to go with. I have an option on a SMIK 115 L x 6.6 x 29 sup foil board.
What does the brains trust think of this combo?
after a bit of deliberation ended up with a Sunova 6.3 x 28 1/2 x 115 and hoping to get out later this week.
What is the thinking re the 76 Infinity mast setting on the SL switch fuse. I think most use the A setting for SUP foiling or?
A for prone or kiting, A or B for SUP , C for windfoiling.
Thx and will give it a go :-)

My understanding is slingshot came out with the switch fuse to accommodate multiple disciplines and the foot placement requirements.
My board didn't have the track box location for A position to work. I found that b position (mast closer to front wing) gave more performance or looseness, and c (mast further from front wing) dampened it a bit making it easier when learning as the foil is not as reactive, but need the track box travel (plate further back on board) to sup foil in c position.
