These 5 Spare Parts Will Save The Day!

Hey, has anyone seen the key?
We've all seen it, and most of us have done it. You know, that old trick where the wife's standing on the ramp ready to go, the kids are in the boat, the car is parked and the day is gorgeous. Where's the key?

You know what B.O.A.T stands for right?

Here's 5 spare parts that won't cost you another thousand bucks, but will save the day…

Bungs. Bring spare bungs, lots of them. Because no matter how hard you try to remember, there will come a day where you'll forget it, lose it, or try to be a hero and replace it while on the move. Take our advice, it never works…

Key. THE key, the one that starts the motor, which in turn takes you to the place you want to go. Hide a spare key somewhere on the boat, so just in case you lose it, drop it or the dog eats it, no problem, you can always get home. While you're there put a float on both keys, and hide a spare car key on the boat or car too.

Kill switch. Much like they key, you need that little plastic clip for the motor to start. We've seen all kinds of ingenius ways to 'trick' the switch into working, but the most ingenious of all would be to bring a spare one.

Waterproof case. You never known when you'll need to take your phone, keys or wallet somewhere wet. Whether that's because your boat sinks and you need to swim to shore, or you simply need to bash into a decent headwind.

Hats. Earn brownie points by leaving a few old hats on the boat, because hat's get forgotten, blown off, wet, smelly or covered in fish guts. Providing a dorky hat to a friend-in-need always makes for great photos too, and making memories is why you bought a boat in the first place!
