One of my tradesmen was selling his V8 Commodore last week. Pulled over with "buyer" to inspect engine, restarted engine and left running as "buyer" could hear rattle. Whilst looking in engine bay "buyer" almost slammed bonnet on my tradies head and then jumped in drivers seat and took off. The guy definately knew what he was doing and waited for the best oppourtunity.

I was filling up with petrol the other day when two young, very attractive women approached me. They wanted a lift about 5 minutes down the road and I was going in that erection direction.

After about a minute of driving the one in the back leaned forwards and started groping the girl in the passengers seat's breasts. Then she removed her own shirt and leaning forward again started to get even friskier with the girl in the passenger seat, too frisky to talk about in this forum but you get the picture. This went on for about a minute or so while I was finding it increasingly difficult to drive. Then the girl in the passenger seat started groping my nether regions, and a minute later the one in the back joined in!

Later that day I realised my wallet had been stolen!

This is a scheme that these girls have got going as I have been back to the petrol station and given them a lift again about 2 days later, then twice again the next week, 4 times the week after and 3 times last week. Each time my wallet is stolen. Be aware people.

I remember the American Made Ford Taurus, circa 1994 (ish).... well the doors would automatically lock after driving away.... So the old car-jacker at the traffic lights automatically get confronted with a locked door....

As do the emergency services at a bad prang.
I'd rather choose when I lock mine.

As far as theft goes (not carjacking) I like the unlocked car with a seat cover full of fishhooks threaded thru it. Put thru the right way they are unaware of the existence of said fishhooks until sliding out of the seat at their destination
Just have to remember to remove it when YOU want to drive it

Mark you reminded me my young age, I had a pimped up Autobianchi Abarth, my fog light got stolen once and I had that good idea given to me, on the back of the bumper bar where the light is bolted just push a razor blade on the threaded bolt and secure it with a counter nut. The little bastard will go with is fingers to locate the position of the nut and will have a nasty surprise!
My foggies never disappeared again but I found blood on the bumper bar and bonnet a few times![}:)]

Just a heads up. If you are selling a car, please when taking people for a test drive take the person thats buying the car only. And have another friend with you for safety.

Its even happening at dealer level, a salesman took a person for a test drive and then had a gun pulled on him.

Please be careful.

Did this happen in Perth recently Doggie? Have you offered this warning because you have been made aware of several recent incidents.

Reading this begs the question "how do the people trying to get away with stuff like this expect not to get caught?"
Are they delusional due to illness or drugs or do they want to go to gaol?

Yea it has happened in the last two weeks

At work one day going from site to a hardware in an outer suburb of melb I pulled up to a T intersection with a major busy rd, window down enjoying the day when a bloke appeared at the drivers window totally caught me unaware, yelling threateningly,salivating demanding money about six inches away from my face I was able to get some money out and gave the mongrel the cash, just in time time to be able to drive away safely whilst the guy was stihingeding on to the car, as the copper said he may have had a knife , it's a common occurrence

do ur window up? watch him break his hand trying to get in? run him over? press the horn to attract attention? laugh at him and get out and murder the junkie?

A couple of weeks ago my wife's niece was carjacked in Qld They smashed the window with a brick to get in, bashed her ,stole car & even her shoes it was headline news in Qld. It was a man & women.
they found car burnt out & the bloke got caught doing it again this time with a different woman makes u wonder
The niece is alright now so she was very very lucky .
