I have here a near brand new boomerang for either sale or to the highest bidder.
Item: Boomerang
Manufacturer; Chanel
Colour: Black
details:
A traditional Strayan natives' invention. It is used for game hunting. It is supposed to come back after you throw it with a spin. It didn't come back, so I am selling it.
Price: $2,000 bought new. You can have it for a basement bargain buy-it-now price of $10.
Note: It is not even 1st April.

Yes. It is also a very expensive fashion statement. Despite the fact that it didn't do as what a boomerang should do, I did look quite good in my latest designer shorts and T-shirt.

No necessary. He will sell you now boomerang for mere $10 and boomerang come back to Jupiter. So he could sell again and again. Then you could not even make a complaint. This is exactly what boomerang suppose to do.

Hey...The best reply !

I remember someone had a beautiful cat for sale. The new owners kept losing him, and the old owner kept putting him up for sale because it kept sneaked back to the old owner. Very neat !

$10 a pop will take me 2,000/10 or 200 repeated sales to break even. Hard work ! Just goes to show fools and money soon part company.

This is a true story.
I went to the libary & my son found a book on making boomerangs &we came home &made quite a few so when my wife went to manly she saw a boomerang for sale &bought it it was made in china &made out of custom wood &had an aboriginal design on it & I think it cost $2 so when she came home &gave it to my son he went out street &threw it .
It went straight though the neighbors window cost $146 to replace glass .
He was about 4yrs old then &he was dad but it didnt come back .
I said well they only come back when there made in Australia mate .
He thought he was going to be in trouble but I just laughed.
Its not like it was his fault.
So maybe you got a Chinese boomerang.

No. It is a Chanel one. $2,000, note: 1,000 times of your $2 cheepie from a 2-buck shop

In case you don't already knew, it is a "desirable" fashion accessory from the famous French fashion house Chanel. It shows off your inner "hunter gatherer". Go on. Buy it. You can have it for a vastly reduced price of $1,000 if you give me your credit card details now !

Would you trade it for a Gucci paddle ? Hand carved leather handle,
Knurled ivory shaft with gold inlay and a duck downed feathered blade.

Gucci fashion house is "almost" as desirable, but not "as good" as Chanel. Not meaning to be a snob, rockmagnet, Please throw in a couple of steak knives just to make it a more equitable trade ?

It was meant to be a joke that it didn't come back. Sorry. However, the price $2,000 is far from being a joke though. And I am not rich enough, dumb enough or vain enough to throw $2,000 into the wind...Pardon the punt

Would anybody notice the difference?

May be. Please don't forget that the "limited edition" boomerang from a fashion house will have a highly visible brand name such as "Chanel". That way you are able to broadcast to the entire street in Sydney that you have good taste, and rich. Such attritbutes are highly disputable, but fashionista don't want to know.

Have you ever wondered why some expensive T-shirts or pants have brand names on the outside ?
