The Great Pyramid is the most remarkable building in existence on the face of our planet today. It was built with such precision that our current technology cannot replicate it.
We can build far more precise stuff than the pyramids. We are just starting to build at an atomic level, nano-technology. Not being able to build the pyramids today is just a common myth, look at just the Opera House for instance. Not that they aren't impressive structures, I doubt we'll have anything left in 4,500 years.

At the time, the gyroscopes were the most nearly spherical objects ever made. Approximately the size of ping pong balls, they are perfectly round to within forty atoms (less than 10 nm). If scaled to the size of the earth, the tallest mountains would be 2.4 m (8 ft) high.

From the Pyramid site:
Mean Distance to the Sun: Half of the length of the diagonal of the base times 10^6 = average distance to the sun
Using the SE diagonal Base times 10^6 = 162,000,000m or 162,000Km.
The sun is 149,597,890km away. Out by 10,000%
Interestingly my wife is 1.49m tall, when multiplied by 10^9 it is the average distance to the sun.
But there's more. In fact this fact may shock you so much you may believe that I hold supernatural powers and secrets to the keys of the universe.

My penis is 17.46cm long. Multiplied by 365.25 (days in year) = 6,378.14, the equatorial radius of the Earth in KM. Exactly. True story.

Seek and ye shall find.
