You'd be living under a rock to not know about missing Cleo by now but it can't hurt to share her picture with the wind and water sport community living on the West Coast.

I've camped at the blowholes with my 6 year old so this story is killing me as a parent.

Agreed

also important is the onesie - clothing that's so distinctive and somebody seeing that anywhere could solve this

And better to pass it around here rather than let the media do it. The bullsh!t reporting FFS, "Police reveal there WERE sex offenders nearby" was the title the other day. Yes there is 20,000+ in Australia so there is always one nearby. These farkheads do more harm than good with the inflammatory stuff.

Mounted police were brought in to the search. When you've got men leaning on their chevals you know that the job is being done properly

Sorry, but I can't resist a good pun

It's not often the police have a win (it's normally cleaning up after a serious incident), this one is a one big win. well done to all concerned.

Fantastic news. Good job by the WA Police and community. I hope her and the family recover and the perpetrator/s get what's deserved.

Isn't the hero of this the person who told police that they observed their neighbour buy nappies at the supermarket and that his dog is now in his front yard and not his backyard?

Why are the police getting all this praise, it's their job to follow up on leads?

I thought the info regarding the nappies and the dog only came out after the arrest.

Well done to all involved.

Best news Cleo is back with her family.
To all the people that claimed the parents were involved, put your dunce hat on and go stand in the corner.

It's boring in the corner. When can I come out to play? And besides, all good profilers know to suspect the stepdad in all crimes.

This event may serve us a sad reminder about thousands of aborigine's children's abducted "legally" by state from their parents.
Did somebody care about their feelings?
The difference is that their fate had rarely happy ending. Nobody was ever investigated, accused and prosecuted.
The same happen across ocean to native children in Canada.

What would have happened to some of these aboriginal kids if they were not removed a hundred or more years ago?

Why make this a race issue? What about the more than quarter of a million non-indigenous children taken in Australia between 1930 and 1982?

History is full of atrocities by countless ethnic/religious/social/tribal groups all over this planet. We must learn from them and try to be better tomorrow, not use them for generating woke credits for social elevation.....All this does is create division.

The irony is that history is always judged by people who were not there.

Did this really happen? What was it? You would think that 250,000 kids would be something newsworthy. Or are you just talking about taking badly treated kids away from bad parents?

It did happen but that doesn't include more than one hundred thousand kids exported from England to commonwealth countries for "a better life" (slaves). It was news worthy, but it didn't evoke the woke because there was no virtue signaling to be had.

Bad parents?....probably but you need define the metrics of a bad parent! And then apply them equally to every incident.

World Wide more than half a million children go missing every year, they were lucky to get her back. Good work to all involved.
