Hey Seabreezers just wondering if anyboday else has been wrongly charged by Telstra.

I swapped over to the NBN a couple of months ago from an out of contract ADSL2 account and haven't locked into a new contract. It's been a few months now and I've just noticed my bills had jumped a bit and I mean a bit like $5 to $8.50 per month. So I queried them today and they told me it's a billing alignment issue and that they are very sorry but have refunded the charges as I never asked for Speed Boost and certainly haven't received the speeds of it.

Now Speed Boost in case you don't know is an extra fee to kick you up from 25mbps to 50 or 100.

So for any new NBN Telstra customers I suggest you check your bills and please post back here to see if this is widespread or as Telstra promised me "it's just you Sir."

I'm with MyRepublic, I pay $60 per month for true unlimited downloads & as fast as the line will provide... 56kbps in my case.
