shocking images coming out of NZ, I feel saddened and sorry for all those people in such a dire situation, we have to be thankful for what we have, as it seems, it can all change so quickly...forever

Bugger, Our KIWI/ANZAC mates are copping it bloody pizzling right now. Some real tough hard buggers when the chips are down, shown today as they got mates and friends out of the rubble when the tragedy was unfolding around their collective ears.
Seeing one of the (I presume bosses) with his head covered in claret, still organising to get people out of his crumpled work building, with no bother to his own injury's. Onya mate, well done.
Same applies to the rest who rescued people at the same time, good onya fulla's

Geez, the southern hemisphere has copped it this year.

So sad to see so many deaths already. I really hope thats it, but its hard to believe it wont climb substantially when you look at the building collapses.
The only brightside for me so far in this run of disasters has been the "awesomeness" of the displays of human spirit and support.

Christchurch folk will be the same.

Makes me proud to be a kiwi, the attitudes of the locals is incredible. No melodrama just get the job done, champions.
