Hi Peeps,

Many thanks to KAL and WAKSA for organizing a sweet demo day here at Leighton Beach.

Southerly Wind was in early and continued all day at 15-18 knots, couldn't have asked for better after yesterday.

I'd like to say a big thanks to all the people involved from KA, WAKSA, the beach helpers who moved a heap of weed, to all the others, bbq team, and of course all the punters who came down and had a go on some sick new gear.

Special thanks to my Action Sports WA crew and our entourage of helpers who schlepped close to a tonne of gear to and from the beach. We had almost 30 kites available from Core, Duotone, Flysurfer, and Ozone, almost 25 twin tip, surf and foil boards from a Duotone, Axis, Moses, Ozone and Shinn.

Massive effort by everyone. Thanks one and all.

What gear did you try and what did you like from the demo today?

DM.

ps. Don't forget foil racing tomorrow at Jervois Bay Sailing Club. Formula foil and Formula 2 foil. Be there by 11am. BBQ and fun for the JBSC season opener.

The new 10sqm Duotone Dice was fantastic. No pulleys, steering and looping felt great. The wind was pretty weak for my liking but I was surprised at how much grunt I could get out of something that steered so well. Keen to try it again in 25+

Also tried the 17sqm Ozone Zephyr as I'd love to have something enormous for Sanur. Haven't tried a Zephyr for 6 years and it's definitely gotten smoother and better behaved. It's funny getting hit by a gust on a 17 your speed just starts increasing, kind of inspired me to finally try a foil.

There was SO much gear down there like half a million worth
