Any recommended shops for hiring kite gear while in San Francisco next week (4-13th April)? I would take my own if had the space!

if you struggle for wind, which you may, go for a trip to Sherman Island, short trip inland from SF that is where the wind hides and all the locals go, cheapest campgrounds in CA to. Cant help with hire sorry

I looked into hiring gear in SF but tricky unless you get lessons. I had a surfboard lesson with the nice folk from Boardsports who teach at Alameda across the Bay from SF. The lesson could have included all the gear but in the end I used my own kites etc. I talked to them before I left about hiring gear & they said they'd be happy for me to hire a board but not kites etc so I ended up taking all my own gear to SF. I thought the best wind was at the 3rd Avenue spot near the San Mateo bridge so was good having my own gear to go there.
Good luck.

Thanks guys. Too late to take my own gear so perhaps I will have to see what an instructor can teach me.
