LOC 2019 Wave Comp
Notice of change of day to Sunday 13 JanuaryToday's forecast for Friday looks poor, with a southerly 13 to 18 knots starting mid-afternoon with around a 1m swell. Sunday's forecast looks excellent with 18 to 20 knots all day on a 2-2.5m 16sec swell.
To take advantage of the conditions we have moved the wave event to Sunday 13 January. The safety & competitor briefing and outline of the day's event will be at Back Beach on Sunday morning at 9.00am with the first heats commencing as soon as possible after that. We expect to wrap up the competition by 6pm.Spaces are limited and you must register online by XXpm Friday Night. We can't take extra registrations on the day as the competition format, heat draw and heat times will be finalised on Saturday. This will be available on www.liveheats.com/LancelinOceanClassicSaturday night.
