Hey trying for a kite tomorrow afternoon and it looks like being straight Southerly.
Some people have mentioned South Beach at Shelly.
How clean is the wind there?

PM if you like to catch up for a kite in that area.

Yer I know. It would have been a good day to test out the 9m edge.
Have the kids now so the chance has gone.

A couple of days later the monkey crawled back to where he is comfortable and it was back to normal

It was like the opposite of what's been happening lately, i turned up and everyone left (maybe they left cos i turned up) then it picked up 15-18kn. so yer i had a good session for a couple of hours.

got out in the squalls on Sunday which wasn't too bad either.

still, haven't had a really good session for ages. DAMN THAT MONKEY!!!!

Hey Gerry,

Trying to blame "anybody" for the lack of wind.

NE er tried yesterday but lasted all of 5 minutes before sitting 100 metres offshore. I called it the "Kitcho" affect...

I hope whatever we have it's not contagious...

Ended up touring the Shelly area looking for a good spot. Ended up going out southern end of Windang beach. Was gusty as hell and not a fun ride at all. First time on the 9m edge. Not real impressed. But will have to give it a go when the wind is more consistent. Did you get out?

Yeah.

Mid arvo "peggies" with (big) Fred, Stumpy and Trent.

Some waves ok, was a bit too much tide.

NE for Tuesday looks good..

That (sand) bank north side Windang Is looks great from the air..
