As of this morning the forecast is not looking good for this weekend. The forecast is changing constantly and it seems that some chance of wind remains. But the swell does not get above 1.5m. We need a reasonable prospect of 5 hours of wind and 1.5m swell for the comp to run.
So this is a preliminary notice of deferral to next weekend 23/24 November - subject to approval by the relevant authorities. We will make a final call and post a final confirmation on Thursday night.
We have about 30 competitors registered at this stage, with the best numbers in amateurs and open men's. We anticipate 50 competitors so there is room for more - get your entry in. Subject to our announcement tomorrow on rolling to the next weekend, drop us a line at WAKSA to let us know if you have to pull out.
