Hi,

we will be holidaying in Perth from 9 Dec to 24 Dec and would like my kid to experience kitesurfing.

Can i know the rates for individual or group of 2-3 kids around early teens? Duration of the course and the location.

Appreciate that you can PM me at low_sweeheng@msn.com

Regards,

Kitesurfing is not "an experience"
It takes a lot to learn, it's an extreme sport
It is possible that your kid will be riding a board in just 2 weeks, but you would probably need around 8 hours of lessons at about $100 per hour, and you'd need to book those lessons very soon. Good Luck

You are correct Joe, wrong choice of words. I need someone to teach her the basics, with the right equipment (especially kite sizes).

Hi Shlow

Contact the guys at actionsportswa.com.au/ they are very good and offer honest feedback / information
The do lessons at pinnaroo point, which is North of the city, google it for location etc

Depending upon where you are based and travelling etc having lessons at Shoal water may also be an option
You would need to contact www.westozkiteboarding.com.au/
I cannot offer an opinion of the school here but the location is ideal for learners and if you are based South of Perth city may be an option for you

If you are a little nervous for your daughter kiting on the open ocean Shoal Water may offer the better location as it is more sheltered than Pinnaroo Point

I am sure, no matter where you have your lessons, she will be well looked after

Good luck and I hope your daughter enjoys herself
You may have a problem if she does as she will want you to buyer all the gear, and it can cost!!
