I have had a few people ask me about the kingston wind fest, is it going ahead or canceled or what.. I January 2017 over the australia day week, as its not a long weekend this time round, the national blokart championship will be held at the lake where the wind fest is usually held, BUT the nationals is a 1 off event taking place on a lake that i believe is big enough for everyone to enjoy. There for as far as i am concerned ,yes the wind fest is still on. I would like to see this "event" become an annual get together of people all with a simmilar interest in sailing on land in whatever grabs their excitement, be that land yacht, blokart, kite buggy or anything in between just as long as its wind powered
So here is a golden opportunity to show case what we do in place where the locals are only to happy to have us there.
Enough of this "us and them " ****,, yes im guilty of it too, but in the long run we all have the same interest justj go about it differently, so come to KINGSTON and lets make itthe "land sailing capital " of the south east 
At this stage its looking like I'll be rocking into Kingston on the 18-19th (Wed-Thurs), taking off on the 25th (Wed). I have to be back on a Wed, and only take one weekend off work. If my work shuts down on either the 27th, 28th, 29th I might be heading to Kingston a week later...
So to confirm. I'll be arriving in Kingston on Thursday 19th Jan and heading back home on the 24th Jan 2017. Looking forward to catching up with those making the trek in 2017
