There seems to be a hell of a lot of mooring minders popping up for sale. Is this the result of the crackdown on "unseaworthy" boats that Maritime were said to be doing?

The Brolga is cheap for sure, but you're probably looking at $25k+ for an engine and interior aren't you?

There is a really good one for sale in Sydney with a fabulous interior for $24,000.

They are all great value !

I guess it depends on what you want the boat for. For coastal pottering the two $24-$33K Brolgas currently advertised with an engine are a better option.

However for serious cruising I would prefer to start from scratch, especially if the boat was unmodified Baker built. I recently got for a quote for brand new Nanni and was surprised how reasonable it was. Quite a bit of change from $21K. So assuming the rig and hull are good, its good value for a handy Joubert enthusiast who appreciates the design. I would love to see more photos and if it has been tinkered with or not.

Just have a look at Pippa for inspiration.

My family are very lucky this boat is not in Melbourne.

It's gone! It certainly would have been a superb buy. The 24 grand one is still available and I wish some one would remove the temptation. One of our list members was interested a few weeks ago! Toss the wheel steering and it would be a great boat.

I had a look at a magpie in Mooloolaba over 5 years ago.
Wonder if it is still the same?

Comanche but the broker states the name is Santulana.

Blue upholstery in the saloon.

Guys

I reckon it is the same boat.
It appears to have gone through a refurb.
I have 87 before pics if anyone is interested.
