You can see it has limitations i.e. 2 people getting tangled, choppy wash sinking the pump, battery going flat !

But for cleaning/inspecting a hull or 2 in the marina, Spot on

It's just a hookah with a thin hose. Not sure I would want a hose that looks like sunlight penetrates the plastic. The most expensive part in my Hookah system is the hose and it is probably the most critical part too.

Nothing special - looks like a cheap version of a PowerDive - www.powerdive.com/product/powersnorkel , although doesn't look as though it has the air reservoir/accumulator tank .
I wasn't convinced about the value in having the compressor floating so I went for the non-floating double version as seen here: www.powerdive.com/product/double-deck-snorkel . Sits in the cockpit when needed, runs from the boat batteries, and gets a lot of use.

None of the hookah units are a substitute for a proper diving course.

I agree 100%, I would not trust this device with my life, but I may put a higher value on my life than do others, do yourself a favour and spend the extra few dollars for an approved hookah system, and for crying out loud get certified, who knows you just might find you enjoy scuba diving, then you'll have another thing you can do with your boat.
