Could someone recommend preferably based on personal experience a reliable diesel mechanic and shipwright with haul out facilities in Sydney or Pittwater, please?

After trying many different ones and getting shafted, I have found Pittwater Marine at Holmeport Marina to be good value & very reliable.
Phone 99972411 and ask for Steve.
I have recently had my shaft seal replaced by them and they now do my regular anti-foul. I originally went there to have my hull soda blasted (and they did a great job). They also service my Yanmar, even though they specialise in Volvos and Yamahas.

I can highly recommend Castlecrag Marine. Two slipways, onsite mechanic, and of course shipwrights, along with work berths and moorings. Run in a friendly "Can Do" manner, and they do great work. Contact Michael, 02 9958 0425 .

On Middle Harbour, I second the recommendation of Castlecrag Marine.

Here on Pittwater, I get great service from The Quays Marina, Church Point. Steve - 9997 2800. The shipwright there is Darren who is very good.

And for diesel mechanics, I use Marine Tune at Bayview Anchorage Marina, Bayview. Ben - 9999 3047.

I would agree with EC31. I have just dealt with Pittwater Marine to get some checks done for the purchase of a boat and found them to be very good.

I've had dealings with both Pittwater Marine and The Quays and would recommend either. Just depends
on who's got the time slot that suits you.
