I'm looking at getting a Jimmy Lewis Striker. Interested if anyone has tried the 9'5" and the 10' and can give a comparison on the glide, stability and how they perform on a wave. Also wandered if anyone who has one in the Torquay or Surf Coast area who would be OK with letting me have a quick paddle, just to get a feeling of the stability and glide, especially the 9'5". Cheers Mark
whats your weight You may find shorter better I ride a 8-11 striker here on the surf coast they are a great board

87 kg, 5'11"
I'm same size as you, have the 9-5 and find it very stable and loose, great board. I wouldn't think you need to go bigger, best to try the 9-5 and 8-11 if you can.
I have the 8'11 and weigh 83kg. Excellent board cannot speek highly enough of the construction and surfability of these boards. Im actually thinking of going to a smaller board. This board will float you no worries but it also depends on your ability.
markw81 pm me an can arrange a demo of the 8-11 if you want
Thanks mate. I'm demoing a 9'5 next week , so will see how that goes.
Hi MarkW81,
You won't need bigger than the 9'5 unless you want a 10' specific board for the comps...
You'll get plenty of stability out of it as is & then it depends how you fin it for manoeuvrability...
I only have a couple of 9'5's left as they're now $200 for March...

Am guessing they're '$200' off, not $200??? If not, sign me up for both JLB!!
