I demo'd four boards including Smik, Starboard x 2 and Sunova in the search for surf sup. They were all good, but for me there was one stand out for my skill level and suited my style.

The Sunova Flow (8' 7")... whilst I think I could have gone a bit smaller for the glassy days it catches waves like a dream, is stable in the chop and I'm able to chuck it around with ease. It also paddles really well. The slightly bigger size means I can still enjoy less than perfect conditions.

in summary, it's a great board! I think I'll save up for the smaller board next.

Thanks to advice on this forum, I think I spent my money wisely. So thanks!

What weight are you mick .
i'm undecided on a size .my balance is ageing ..
specially after a Friday night schooner session .
me 95-6 ...kg.

cant get the 130 out of my mind ,but the 8.7 @120 looks the go too .
slugga ,reckons the 8.7 is the go too.

no demo in my area.
but do ride at times a 130 mana which is not really a high performance modular .

put some nice medium to large quads like the shaper s6 in the flow and it loosens up the tail and livens up the board more I love my 8'7..

There's a few threads on here about the Flow and Fin set ups, just seek them out.
Ive an 8'7 too and using it Quad with PCC7's in, with smaller trailing fins.
Great board for slashing around on.
