Hello everyone. My partner leant on a Sunova Surf 10'6 30 156lts and now wants a smaller board that is maybe 28 or 29 wide.

She is adamant she wants a Sunova xxx board as she fell in love with the Surf.

Do you have any board recommendations?

thanks will take a look at those boards. How are they in flat water????? yes dams and creeks because we live rural and out 2 and hour hours from the bay or ocean. One day we will try small surf at some stage so a good glide and balance board that will do some surf occasionally at a later stage. We will be keeping the board for years and years so needs to go well especially in the flat.

Just remember a board won't be as buoyant in fresh water like it is in salt.

Sunova Style 9'6" or the revolution in a smaller size imo.

We are finding the 156lts sup floats really high on the dam we are paddling on fire her. I thinks it's because she is only 50kg. At 100lts it's 2 times her body weight still.

That might be a good option. We are hoping for a smaller board around the 7kg mark so she can load it easy on the roof of the ute.
