Hey guys. I have a good quality hard starboard SUP. I'm looking to buy a cheaper ISUP for trying to get my dog onto it, and also for inexperienced family to use. Looking for something that can manage around 110kg. I know that price= quality, but as a second board I don't need it to be amazing. I'm hoping there's a good value, reasonable quality inflatable out there. I'd love to be able to afford a red paddle co board, but can't currently. I've been checking online for second hand ones and haven't found any for quite a while. Hence looking for alternatives.
I'd appreciate any suggestions
Look for sales of quality brands. A lot of brands are now discounting their 2020 models with the arrival of the 2021 lines. Even Gong :-)
Check out Buy and Sell. I don't know anything about it but it reads well
Thanks but as I said in my post, I've been checking the second hand sales (this website included) for quite a while and haven't seen anything similar to what I want pop up.
I don't know anything about them, but the Aqua Marina boards that Anaconda sell get very good reviews from supboardermag and look like good value.
I've had an Aqua Marina Atlas for about 18 months now and I'm pretty happy. In my opinion half decent inflatables start at around $600. The $299 entry levels are not very stiff and the build quality is questionable. I also have a Fanatic Fly Air Premium ($1400) which is at the other end of the spectrum. For the money the Aqua Marina compares pretty well and the paddle and leash that come with it are pretty decent as well.

Note that I don't deflate my boards and I store and transport them like hardboards. Apparently all the wear and tear on the seams comes from the rolling up and inflate/deflate process. I own them for the kids/inexperienced adults etc so they don't ding my hard boards, not for the portability side of things.
Cheers, Damo
