A couple of weeks ago I was lucky enough to go for a surf in near perfect conditions - with no one else out. The waves were a little slow and I struggled to gain much speed, but if you need to transport yourself to the green room, watch this.
I'm there! The best bit is that no one is around and its clean. Soul Session.
For some reason that clip also reminded me how I used to get frustrated with fat or slow waves on smaller SUP's, I was mind surfing that wave on a 10'er!

Yes, between their shape and the frequent off-shore breeze, I needed a Speed or Style or something else built to glide down the line.
What beautiful colors and back drop. And the empty lineup looks nice as well. There is a special freedom on a sup when alone at the feast.

It is an amazing spot! Clear water, blue sky, off-shore breeze - and when paddling down the river to get there, there was a wallaby in the shallows. Pretty cool!
Gotta love a remote spot and a solo session..... perfect!
Thanks for the waves
That board looked pretty short...
I'm guessing like a 7 something custom Placid? The nose made me think that.
You took me on a journey ,i didn't want to return from .awesome .JT .
I Loved the music .too
Thanks Tardy! That's one of the main reasons I like making the movies; as simple as the edit was. They take me back to that day so I can enjoy it all over again.
As for the music, as you probably realized, it was from the same album as I had used previously. But would you believe it was just 3 seconds longer than my original edit. All I had to do was extend the fade to black at the end and it fit the track perfectly. I don't know about you, but I am often searching, editing, and tweaking to make the music fit. Not this time!

Thanks STC - it was a great session.
It is actually my 8'7 Placid. It was a custom color, but it has faded since then.
One of the most beautiful places in the world I reckon. One of my favourite places to surf and rarely ever a crowd. Plenty of other options in the near vicinity. Waves are never "all time" but can be perfectly shaped, just lack a little grunt. But if your "a surfer you're stocked". Thanks for the vid.
That looked Ace!
Its amazing what you can do with photoshop these days, I'm sure I saw some mucky brown water in one of the clips!!
I'm "welljell"
