Yes unfortunately like everything being imported in the country at the moment shipping costs have gone up substantially so I have had to put the price up.
the RRP on the SUPs is now $2399.
Jimmy
has no plans to make any changes to the Destroyer shapes .
thanks

What size is the red board? Would it be worthwhile putting the hexa traction on the 7'7 model?

The red board is a 7'7 model with 100 liters.

For the take-off, I sometimes place my front foot beyond the deck pad and the hexa traction prevent me from slipping off, for the take-off the first line would be enough. There are some moments I still "run" to the nose if there are gutless waves and I go down the line because there is not enough power and seepd to make turns. I get really annoyed if I slip off the nose, and I don't like the wax on the board, therefore I added it.

If the waves were steeper I probably won't need it, but in the Netherlands is it like this.

Yeah I wonder if it would be worthwhile taking the original JL deck pad off, cutting it down to size so you would have a little bit for the rear foot with the rest being the hexa to cut down on weight.

I'm sure you can order without a deckpad applied...you'd just have to wait on production etc. At least I think Jimmy offered this a while back...

It's already a very light board, i'm not sure much will be gained from that.

Pads can be quite heavy when wet.

Weight your board dry and then wet to see the difference.

If you ask me, the only thing that I would change on the board is the deck pad, it isn't so grippy compared to the other brands, that's my only disadvantage as a Jimmy Lewis Fanboy.

Yep... The only issue I had with my carbon worldwide was the slippery deck pad.

Hasn't turned me off buying another JL, but thinking of ordering a destroyer without a pad and adding an OAM deck pad.
