I am looking for a new board -68kg, 48yo female. Not racing but love to go fast and straight for longer distances. Would like to join a pod and try downwindo g in the future. I have tried a Naish racing board and loved it but can't remember if it was the Maliko or javelin. The fanatic is also catching my attention. Any suggestions on which one to go for. The lighter the better.

Maybe check out something like the New Edge 3.0 www.oneoceansportsaustralia.com/shop/plpb19xhozmp05t812q7jwiiwrbt3z

Aussie company making plenty of super high quality boards, also super light with the bonus of also being super strong.

Very fast on the flatwater and can also handle some light DW if needed.

Any questions on the boards just let me know.

The new 14x 26 Naish Maliko would be an awesome board for you.. Where do you live and try and demo before buying if you can.. And don't make the mistake of going too narrow.

Naish are great so are One and I personally love Jimmy Lewis Sidewinders at 14ft they are only 9kg and you could easily go to 25in width, I have a 27 wide and am 80kg wet and it does a variety conditions if you are not serious about winning DW runs or races and just want to have fun.
