We have a proposed development in place for Tasmania that looks every bit a failure.
Globally, artificial reefs have notoriously been a disaster... however, clearly we need more breaks to thin out the lineups... Its a tricky situation...
And...
You cant mess with thousands of years of nature constructing nature...
However, this looks pretty interesting and vastly better thought out than other options I have seen...

I've got our second under construction now this one is at palm beach looks like a winner at this stage they are using massive boulders it's said to improve the surf quality and also provide protection to the beaches

That's what I like about it, the base being made form 1-4 ton boulders makes more sense than the one in Tasmania they want to build from Fibreglass

The first one at Main Beach,most say it was flop,it may have added protection and a wave at first but I heard its buried now.
