Yeah you know, when you tell ya shaper "I want/need a longboard that goes well in closeout beachbreak surf", is there such a board? Uncle needs one.! Having popup probs for last year finally went to Dr's, get an x-ray & MRI. " What's the story doc?, Ya backs feked,L5/S1 has move 8mm & ya got spondylolisthesis, go see a Neurosurgeon you'll get the options from him". "Gulp" Now , at 65, I just know where this will endup, so longboard here I come (I hope). So yeah, who we got out there doing somethig that'll fit the bill ?. ATM I'm thinking a Pieter SBB looks like it might be good. Oh yeah, got a few boards to sell Miller Poweglide 7'5", & yes the SUBX (great board) 7', 7'6" MR flying fish & 7'2" firewire AAddvance. Anyone interested PM Me. Been practicing the headdip, elrollo, standing hawiian pullout, drop leg turns & coffin, for the RTL (return to longboarding) havn't done any of those for 40+ yrs, yew! (LOL).

call steve at clearwater and ask for the king pin... it is a full hp longboard, and I mean full hp longboard. Not these two plus one pretenders. It is heavily rockered, big tail lift, beautiful low rails and it a monster for the conditions you want....that is my 13 cents worth

mine makes me smile

What the hell happened to the bike? That is an abomination. Clip ons on an Enfield?

The board looking looks sweet though.

You have a bad back and want to surf close out beach breaks , thats funny in peculiar way.
BTW I've had a microdiscectomy on L5 S1 by a Neurosugeon in 2003
And what I know about back management is don't get thrown around in washing machine beach breaks,
maybe high tide at a point is a good start.
also don't tell your Neurosugeon youre 65 with a bad back wanting to surf beach breaks because he will also laugh in a funny way.
good luck with the back mate

Drip, that's a Royal Enfeild GT 535 - they're made that way out of the factory. Just Enfield's way of cashing in on the current trend of cafe racer bikes being trotted out by Deus and others for the hipsters.....

They're actually pretty good at what they're built for though....

oh..Monsignor of the mango...Sharman of the sand... thanks for those words... & yea I will "pickup my board & go surf". Those V8's (in Maynard G Krebs voice) are.. "like cool Mr G", I had been in contact with the RG man & he did indeed suggest the V8. I'm of a certain mind atm that if i sell 4 boards I'll get 2 longer ones, works for me.There's just so many good steeds to ride the green dragon with these days, decisions decisions.. 1st world prob.

Cobra, sorry to hear about your back, did the op work ok? Don't really wanna surf beach break closeouts but as I live in sydney it's a "when in rome....' situation. Yeah it is funny the way Dr's look at you when ya say "but can I still surf". Only one that didn't was my Dr that did my hip resurfacing, only because he a body whomper now but used to surf.

Drip, I got nuffin on bikes, only Enfield I know is a western Sydney suburb.

Mate I developed scare tissue at the OP site and took five years to fix, must say my first surfs had me questioning my mental state and why I would risk re injury .
