Apparently they are compatible with the 1st gen glide wing fuselage. Looking slimmer and higher aspect.

Anyone know more about these?

Thanks! I was planning on getting an L wing for my current NP glide set up consisting of the S and M wing. Will be nice to have more choice before buying.

FYI - Here some dates for all the NP 2021 gear, the Flight FR (replacement for flight AL foil) is coming on the same date, and carbon mast coming in March 2021
These new glide wind wings were tested here at the Gold Coast QLD pre-release a couple of months ago by local that gives feedback to NP, he seemed to like what they gave him, and they did bolt on the current fuse i was told

2021 Neil Pryde Glide HP Surf FoilWHAT'S NEW?
Designed and tested by mad scientist/ pro foiler Kane De Wilde (@KDmaui), the new HP Wings offer a good balance of efficiency and high speed stability. The wings get progressively higher aspect as the size increases to keep takeoff manageable and reduce drag on the larger wings for a better speed range and higher efficiency.

HP WINGHP11 S: light or skilled riders, waist high+. Good for high speed winging, kiting, high performance surfing, tow in. Sportive foil for windsurfing. Good speed and maneuverability at still early lift.

HP13 M: average weight and intermediate+ riders, waist high to a little overhead. Good for winging, very experienced or light riders downwind, high performance surfing.Playful foil for windsurfing. Early lift and ease of use for beginners. Little higher aspect compared to the S version to keep the takeoff manageable and reduce drag.

HP15 L: average to heavier riders, intermediate, knee to head high waves. Good for winging, connecting waves surfing, experienced downwind riders.

HP19 XL: average to heavy riders, early intermediate to advanced, flatwater to shoulder high waves. Good for winging, downwind, flatwater pump.Includes: 75cm mast, Surf Fuselage, Hardware kit, wing covers, and travel case. *Select board connection in drop-down.OUR NEW

MODULAR FOIL SYSTEM allows to interchange all
wings, heads, masts and fuselages between the Glide Surf & Glide Wind range and even the mast and head of the Flight
Hybrid are compatible.

This offer maximum flexibility - weather you want to use the foils on different boards and fin boxes or change from, windsurfing and wing foiling to surfing or stand up paddling. Plus, all parts are clearly color coded, so you can see on first sight, which ones to mount.GLIDE SURF creates a playground for building new surfing sensations.

With a stable and fast take off no matter the surf conditions, the GLIDE SURF delivers superior gliding and controlled speed to ride waves as far as they can flow. On the wave, the Glide Surf allows you to fly through the sections and progress from straight riding to progressive foil-turns. Your imagination is now the only limitation to how you will use the waves and how far you will fly.Pump from one wave to the next - see how long you can fly!

My wife and I have the 2020 Glide Wind in S and M, but have been reading about higher aspect wings being more suitable for wider boards, bigger sails and cruising through lulls. We really like the Glides as relative beginners, but find that they decelerate pretty quickly even with the washer set up to reduce drag.

My wife (60kg) had my M (I'm 76kg) on her JP freefoil 115 with a 6.1 sail in about 8-10 knots and while she was up and cruising about 50% of the time, struggled with going through lulls. The JP is maxed out at a recc max sail size 6.5 (ideal is 5.8 according to JP website).

I'm thinking about a bigger board (for me), JP135, but also to see whether it could keep my wife up on the foil all the time with a slightly bigger sail.

This would only work well (apparently but please correct me if I'm not reading all this stuff correctly) with a higher aspect foil; hence why the subject line grabbed me. Are these new foils really higher aspect, hard to tell from the pictures, not seen too much data or testing on them.

Cheers and thanks for any advice !

Anyone has a photo or measurements comparing 2020 vs 2021 high aspects next to each others ?
Are the new ones worth the change ? Still waiting for the wing availability in Australia.

Any feedback on these foils?

Found one review but the auto translate is a bit wonky. Thinner than the blue green version

Has anyone tried the Flight FR (replacement for flight AL foil)? They are available here now, just don't know what baord I'd stick it on...wife's Freefoil 115? I heard (agent here) that the carbon masts are delayed due to test breakages in Europe...

New front wings are now available in Australia.
At $750, not cheap. 50% of the whole kit (Mast + Fuse, + head + tail wing)...
I still haven't seen any sailing videos with the new one...

Has anyone had any first hand experience on these yet? Also curious to see if anyone has come across any more details, NP have published the cm2 but curious about the width & AR of the various sizes.

I've been looking for them in the US but they are still in a shipping container inbound - at least the sizes I'm looking for.

jksmurf, that's the Flight FR, the successor to the Flight AL. The HA wings are on the FoilGlide series. The pictured foils do have a Axis vibe with how the wing and fuse connect. Didn't know that NP and F4 officially parted ways.

I just received my Glide HP 13 front wing yesterday. It does look great.
I tried to put it on my 2020 Glide fuselage, but it is slightly too tight in the front of the groove. I need to file/sand something to fit better. I am not sure if I should file/sand the wing or the fuse ? The Aluminium would loose it's blue/green colour, but I am worried to sand the carbon/resin of the wing.
Exciting. But we are starting winter here in Canberra, freezing and no more wind.

I think we crossed quotes here, I raised the Flight-FR above, so was refernincg those. I actually have had the HP 15 Glide for some time and am pretty pleased with it for the surfy feel on a Freefoil Windfoil board, without being too low AR. The FR interest was more for low wind, big board, straight line speed ... I haven't tried the HP on my wing yet, am still taking baby steps with an older Glide XL (which has great lift but is slow and not so easy to turn.

You are correct. I didn't read well enough posts in the middle of the thread which I'd been following for a while. Thanks for the clarification and feedback on the other wings. Kind of disappointed to read about the XL which will be my first trainer foil for winging (along with an L).

Goodness that's exactly the issue I had with the HP Glide 15 on the blue fuse. I didn't realise it until I'd got to the beach so I used a bit of wet/dry sandpaper in my kitbag and sanded the fuse (sides only). My wife and I having both dinged a blue S and M Glide and seen how thin the carbon was, I was loathe to sand the foil. Actually it was also because I bought a cheaper non-branded (but identical) fuse. Mines a snug fit now though. Tefgel on the threads and not taken it apart since .

@Paducah regarding the XL foil don't get me wrong it works totally fine to learn on, pumps ok, is fun enough in swell "because" it is slow enough not to outrun it, I think I just got to a point where the "glide" didn't seem long enough, and the gybe issues are probably more down to my incompetence on a big SUP Foilboard than down to the foil itself.

Got my HP 13 yesterday to upgrade a '19 Glide S. Shape is almost completely changed, thinner, higher aspect and a subtle gull wing profile on a transv section.

Didn't see it mentioned anywhere, I had to shave off some 3mm from the bolts, the two rearmost bolts were bottoming out on the fuse without reaching the wing and the front was sticking out the fuse.

Now waiting for the wind..

Good info and I'm very interested to hear your thoughts on the HP model in this size when you get out on the water (windfoiling I assume, so many options these days have to ask...).

When they said the AR was higher through the range I sort of expected the smallest one to be close to the original and not that much changed. Cheers
